Job summary

Exicom is seeking an experienced Production professional to oversee battery manufacturing operations from raw materials to shipment. You will lead frontline technicians, develop process documents, and ensure adherence to SOPs, quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in ME/EE/Mechatronics.
• Min. 3–5 yrs of experience in Production/manufacturing, preferably battery production.
• Thorough knowledge of battery assembly and shop-floor best practices.
• Experience with Li-ion battery manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the manufacturing operation flow from raw materials to shipment with quality and safety.
• Manage frontline manufacturing staff (technicians; engineers as needed).
• Develop and maintain process documents and technical standards.
• Ensure production activities comply with SOPs, quality, EHS policies; resolve issues using LEAN concepts.
• Plan daily production targets, update production MIS and DPR.
• Participate in meetings, communicate actions, and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
• Provide training, identify skill requirements, and deploy resources for projects (PFC, CP, PPAP, SPC).

Role & responsibilities

ROLE

To carry out Production Activities & coordination with other Functions for smooth production with quality & safety product.

RESPONSIBIITY

• Leading the manufacturing operation Flow of Battery from raw material to shipment.
• Management of front-line manufacturing employee mainly technician and involve engineer if technically required.
• Developing profound knowledge of technical discipline ( Process Documents).
• Ensuring all manufacturing works are perform in compliance to company policy, in accordance with business priority, standard SOP, quality and EHS requirement.
• Has ability to propose different/straight forward solution outside of set parameter. Resourceful in solving various manufacturing issue and apply LEAN concept in manufacturing line.
• Ensure the target productivity level is achieved on a daily basis.(Plan vs Achievement).
• Update the production plan on a daily basis.(Production MIS and DPR)
• Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions
• Produce written reports and make presentations (Weekly and monthly production reports).
• Undertake continuous training and development
• Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required(PFC,FMEA,CP,PPAP,SPC)
• Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.

Qualification

• BE/B.Tech/Diplomain ME/EE/Mechatronics
• Min. 3-5 yrs of Work-experience in Production & related activities in Manufacturing preferably Battery production
• Thorough Knowledge of assembly of Battery manufacturing
• Through knowledge of best practices on shop floor
• Experience in working in Li ion battery is preferred
