Qualifications

• Experience as a Barista in cafe/restaurant/hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of espresso machines, grinders and brewing methods.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Latte art knowledge is a plus.

• Maintain beverage quality, presentation and serving standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the station and area.
• Coordinate with service staff and kitchen teams for smooth operations.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other caf drinks. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of coffee preparation, machine handling, customer service, and caf operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, Americano, cold coffee, and other beverages.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other beverage equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, milk steaming, and latte art.
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Maintain beverage quality, consistency, presentation, and serving standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment, and work area.
• Monitor coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other inventory; report shortages when required.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
• Coordinate with service staff and kitchen teams to ensure smooth caf operations.
• Handle customer queries and provide a friendly, professional guest experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista in a caf, restaurant, hotel, or specialty coffee outlet is preferred.
• Knowledge of espresso machines, grinders, and coffee brewing methods.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Knowledge of latte art and specialty coffee is an advantage.
• Well-groomed, energetic, and customer-oriented personality.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Hotel Management qualification or a relevant barista certification is preferred.
