Job summary

Parle Glob Technologies is seeking an Automation Engineer to modify PLC logic, tune control loops, and configure SCADA/HMI screens across multiple customer projects. The role serves as the primary automation support contact for PLC, HMI, SCADA, electrical systems, drives, and related equipment.

You will maintain documentation, analyze electrical/electronic systems on-site, diagnose issues to minimize downtime, and support installations and FAT/SAT activities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HMI development and SCADA configurations.
• Strong electrical control panel troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with VFD and servo drive basics.
• Understanding of industrial automation systems and machine commissioning.
• Knowledge of industrial communication networks.

Responsibilities

• Modify PLC logic, tune PID loops, and configure SCADA/HMI screens, alarms, trends, and recipes.
• Serve as the single point of contact for machine automation support involving PLC, HMI, SCADA, electrical systems, drives, and related automation equipment.
• Maintain accurate, inspection-ready automation documentation such as control narratives, network diagrams, I/O lists, alarm configurations, and system backups.
• Analyze and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems of machinery at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation issues to minimize downtime and improve machine performance.
• Provide technical advice and services to customers.
• Support new equipment installations and automation-related projects, including requirements definition, vendor coordination, FAT/SAT participation, commissioning, and equipment hand over.
• Inform customers concerns point to internal team, implement solutions at site (via online or site visit) and take feedback and share with respective team
• Maintaining library of softwares project wise for the machines dispatched from factory.
• Good written and communication skills, periodically update daily work report to concern persons.
• Troubleshoot automation and control system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
