Job summary

Parle Tableting Technologies seeks an Automation Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on PLC programming and automation experience. You will design SCADA/HMI solutions, integrate databases for reporting, and support data logging across manufacturing lines.

Responsibilities include configuring and testing control logic, servo/motion systems, and field sensors, with FAT/SAT at customer sites. You will work with electrical and software teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as Automation Engineer.
• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, Omron).
• Design and develop SCADA/HMI applications with database reporting and data logging.
• Configure, test, debug, and optimize machine automation sequences and control logic.
• Integrate, configure, and troubleshoot servo drives, servo motors, and motion control systems.
• Work with field sensors such as proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, encoders, and vision systems.
• Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues in automation systems.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and operation manuals.
• Collaborate with electrical and software design teams to ensure project execution.

• Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, Omron, etc.) using Structured Text (ST) and Function Block (FB) languages.
• Design and develop SCADA/HMI applications with integration to MS Access or SQL databases for reporting and data logging.
• Configure, test, debug, and optimize machine automation sequences and control logic.
• Integrate, configure, and troubleshoot servo drives, servo motors, and motion control systems (e.g., Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens).
• Work with and commission field sensors such as proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, encoders, and vision systems.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues in automation systems, including PLCs, drives, and field devices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and operation manuals.
• Collaborate with electrical and software design teams to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
