Job summary

Microland Limited is seeking a network engineer with strong DNS/DHCP/IPAM experience and Cisco DNAC expertise to support enterprise operations in Bengaluru. The role focuses on configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting critical networking services while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have awareness of Cisco ISE, routing and switching concepts, and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Engineering or Science is required.
• DNS, DHCP and IPAM experience with the ability to configure and troubleshoot.
• Cisco DNA Center knowledge for network automation and assurance.
• Awareness of Cisco ISE capabilities for policy configuration and access control.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level network support and incident resolution.
• Review work of junior engineers and provide day-to-day guidance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and document troubleshooting observations to speed resolutions.

Knowledgeable in Cisco DNA Center, with the ability to perform configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network automation and assurance features to support enterprise operations.

Aware of advanced Cisco Routing and Switching concepts, with the ability to perform configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network devices to support stable connectivity.

Aware of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) capabilities, with the ability to support policy configuration, user access control, and troubleshooting of authentication issues.

Communicates clearly, concisely, and professionally across all levels of interaction. Works efficiently within cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment during issue resolution. Handles escalations effectively by providing comprehensive analysis, relevant logs, and detailed observations to higher-level teams, enabling faster and more accurate resolution.

Supervises junior employees, ensures delivery quality and standards adherence, and supports onboarding, training, and stakeholder coordination.
