Job summary

Microland Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned network and security engineer with hands-on expertise in Zscaler, Cisco R&S, and Palo Alto firewalls to strengthen our security posture.

You will optimize ZIA/ZPA configurations, drive threat prevention strategies, and mentor Level 1/2 engineers while coordinating incident response and post-incident reviews across multi-site delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Any Graduate (Engineering / Science).
• Experience with ZIA/ZPA configurations and IdP integrations (Okta/Azure AD).
• Strong knowledge of Cisco R&S, Zscaler, and Palo Alto platforms.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers and lead knowledge sharing.
• Serve as primary technical contact during major incidents and escalations.
• Coordinate post-incident analysis and implement fixes across delivery teams.

Zscaler Advanced Configuration and Integration

Experienced in optimizing ZIA/ZPA configurations, including tenant-level policy orchestration, SSL decryption strategies, and integration with IdPs such as Okta and Azure AD.

Palo Alto Firewall Threat Prevention and High Availability Design

Knowledgeable in implementing threat prevention (WildFire, Antivirus, Anti-Spyware), configuring HA pairs, and troubleshooting critical security policy issues across Panorama.

Advanced Cisco RandS Infrastructure Design and Optimization

Knowledgeable in routing topologies (BGP, redistribution strategies), optimizing STP, planning QoS, and performing network performance tuning across multi-site networks.

Cisco FTD Policy Tuning and SIEM Integration

Aware of customizing ACP and intrusion policies, performing deep packet analysis with Snort rules, and integrating Firepower logs with SIEM platforms to improve threat visibility.

Provides mentorship and guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, fostering skill development through continuous knowledge sharing, structured handovers, and adoption of best practices. Acts as the primary technical contact during major incidents and escalations, ensuring timely communication, effective resolution, and comprehensive post-incident analysis. Promotes a collaborative and positive team culture by proactively resolving conflicts and strengthening cohesive relationships across delivery teams.
