Job summary

Microland Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Administrator - Digital Network to manage Cisco WLAN, routing and switching, ASA firewall, and ISE services. The role focuses on deployment, monitoring, and incident resolution for integrated network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will handle basic router/switch configuration, lightweight AP deployment via WLC, 802.1X authentication setup, and escalation-ready documentation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have an engineering or science background with any graduate degree.
• Proficient understanding of Cisco WLAN technologies.
• Experience with ASA firewall, Cisco ISE, and routing/switching basics.

Responsibilities

• Basic configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco Routers and Switches (R&S).
• Deploy and monitor Cisco WLAN APs via WLC; ensure signal strength and client connectivity.
• Assist in configuring identity-based access control (802.1X) using Cisco ISE and enforce simple policies.
• Implement basic ACLs, NAT, and support ticket-based troubleshooting for traffic issues.
• Communicate clearly and professionally; collaborate across cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Basic ASA Firewall Rule Implementation and NAT Support:

• Implement basic ACLs, object groups, static/dynamic NATs, and support ticket-based troubleshooting for traffic flow issues.
