Job summary

Khatib & Alami is seeking an experienced Associate Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary design projects from concept through delivery in Bengaluru. The role requires strong planning, coordination with site teams, and risk management in large-scale buildings and infrastructure projects.

Candidate should have Middle East project exposure and may have PMP or equivalent credentials. This is a senior, on-site position with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 8-18 years of experience in construction project execution or project coordination.
• Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, quantity estimation, and site management.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, BOQs, contracts, and billing procedures.
• MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
• AutoCAD for drawing review and coordination.
• MS Project or Primavera P6 for project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and deliver buildings and infrastructure projects in multidisciplinary settings.
• Assist the Project Manager in project plans, schedules, and execution strategies.
• Monitor day-to-day construction activities and ensure progress per schedule.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to hit milestones.
• Identify delays, risks, and propose corrective actions.
• Track progress and report deviations from the plan.

We are looking for dynamic and experienced Associate Project Managers who can successfully manage and drive multidisciplinary design projects from initial concept development through to final delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Should have experience in the planning, design, and delivery of buildings and infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of multidisciplinary project environments.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing project plans, construction schedules, and execution strategies.
• Monitor day-to-day construction activities and ensure progress as per the approved project schedule.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to achieve project milestones.
• Identify project delays, execution issues, and potential risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Track project progress against planned targets and report deviations.
• Mandatory Middle East project experience, including exposure to the design and delivery of large-scale buildings and infrastructure projects within the region.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding a PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
