Job summary

Delhivery Limited is seeking an Assistant Team Lead to manage daily facility, warehouse, and last-mile logistics operations and support the Team Lead.

You will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate with cross-functional teams, monitor KPIs like TAT and SLAs, and ensure SOP compliance while driving efficient delivery performance on the shift. The role requires a Graduate with 0–1 year of experience in logistics and basic MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation or degree preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience in logistics, warehousing, or last-mile operations.
• Basic computer and MS Excel/dashboard knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inbound, outbound, sorting, and dispatch activities.
• Manage First Mile (FM), Last Mile (LM), and Reverse Pickups (RVP).
• Track live shipments, route planning, and load optimization.
• Perform inventory audits, cash reconciliation, and reduce ageing shipments.
• Supervise warehouse associates, process executives, and field delivery executives.
• Allocate daily tasks, manage shift rosters, and monitor attendance and discipline.
• Conduct shift huddles, communicate daily targets, and provide on-the-job training.
• Take full ownership of the shift in the absence of the Team Lead.
• Monitor KPIs such as Turnaround Time (TAT), SLAs, and Return-to-Origin (RTO) rates.
• Prepare and maintain daily MIS reports and productivity logs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, transport vendors, and customer support to resolve issues.
• Resolve customer escalations and on-field delivery challenges.
• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines.

• Operations Management:
  • Oversee daily inbound, outbound, sorting, and dispatch activities.
  • Manage First Mile (FM), Last Mile (LM), and Reverse Pickups (RVP).

  • Perform inventory audits, handle cash reconciliation, and reduce ageing shipments.
• Team Handling and Supervision:
  • Supervise warehouse associates, process executives, and field delivery executives.

• Performance and Quality Metrics:

  • Minimize shipment errors, damages, misroutes, and process deviations.
• Reporting and Coordination:
  • Prepare and maintain daily Management Information System (MIS) reports and productivity logs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, transport vendors, and customer support to resolve issues.
  • Resolve customer escalations and on-field delivery challenges.
• Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Graduation or any general degree (Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields preferred).

• Experience: 0 to 1 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or last-mile operations.
• Skills: Basic computer and MS Excel/dashboard knowledge, team handling, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
