Job summary

The White Teak Company by Asian Paints in Bengaluru is seeking an Assistant Product Design Engineer (Lighting & Decorative Products). You will translate design concepts into manufacturing-ready technical drawings and collaborate with design and production teams.

Responsibilities include creating CAD/shop drawings, visiting factories and sites, and developing assembly, electrical, and plan/elevation drawings to ensure feasibility and faithful execution of the final design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 23 years of experience in Lighting / furniture / similar decorative yet technical product categories.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & 3DS Max/Solid Works software.
• Practical understanding of screws, nuts, pipes, threads, and standard hardware.
• Ability to interpret design concepts and convert them into detailed execution drawings.
• Willingness to visit sites and factory regularly.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for translating design concepts into manufacturing-ready technical drawings. This role requires hands‑on understanding of products, site conditions, and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
