About the Role

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and creative skills, with the ability to translate ideas into accurate drawings, renders, and documentation. This role will be pivotal in supporting product development, project reviews, and research activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Drawings & Documentation
• Prepare accurate 2D/3D CAD drawings and detailed technical documentation.
• Maintain and update design files for catalog and project purposes.
• 3D Renders & Visualization
• Create high-quality renders and visual presentations for client/internal use.
• Assist in design reviews by preparing concept models and illustrations.
• Instruction Manuals & Guides
• Develop clear and user-friendly assembly, installation, and maintenance manuals.
• Ensure instructions meet industry and client standards.
• Project Reviews
• Support in reviewing ongoing projects for design accuracy, feasibility, and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, procurement, marketing).
• Product Research & Innovation
• Conduct research on materials, processes, and industry trends.
• Benchmark competitors’ products and suggest improvements/new ideas.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, interior design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
2. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Sketchup, Blender, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
3. Experience with rendering tools (Blender, V-Ray, Enscape or similar).
4. Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
5. Ability to interpret design briefs and turn them into practical solutions.
6. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in design engineering or product design
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and prototyping.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop) for manual preparation is a plus.
