Job summary

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years CAD experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with SolidWorks/Mastercam. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings and design files

Artasia is a fast-growing furniture manufacturing and export company known for high-quality furniture and home dcor products. As we scale our design and production capabilities, we're looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our engineering team at our Bagru, Jaipur facility.

What You'll Do

• Create and modify detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD
• Translate design concepts into accurate, production-ready technical drawings
• Prepare drawings with precise dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing specifications
• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) based on drawings and specifications, prepare ronting/ Mechanical schedule to components.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchase, and Design teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Revise designs based on production feedback and manufacturing constraints
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings and design files
• Troubleshoot design and technical issues alongside the production team

What We're Looking For

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a CAD Designer / Mechanical Designer
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
• SolidWorks and Mastercam knowledge is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
• Sharp attention to detail with good communication and cross-team coordination skills

Preferred Background

Prior experience in furniture manufacturing, CNC machining, or fabrication industries is a strong advantage.

Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be prioritized.
