Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Lighting Design and Architectural Lighting, with experience creating concept, schematic, and detailed lighting plans.
• Proficiency in Lighting and Lighting Control, including fixture selection, control systems integration, and energy-efficient solutions.
• Understanding of Interior Design principles and how lighting supports spatial aesthetics and user experience.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Ability to read and produce technical drawings, CAD plans, and lighting calculations using industry-standard software.
• Knowledge of electrical systems related to lighting installations and safety standards.
• Strong visual communication and ability to present concepts to clients and project teams.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and on-site collaboration.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Lighting Designer/Electrical Engineer role based in Bengaluru South. The role involves designing architectural and interior lighting schemes, selecting appropriate fixtures, and preparing lighting layouts and technical drawings. The team member will coordinate lighting control strategies, calculate lighting levels, and ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards. Daily tasks include collaborating with architects and interior designers, reviewing client requirements, preparing documentation and specifications, and supporting project execution from concept through installation. The role also requires attending site visits, participating in design reviews, and troubleshooting lighting and electrical-related issues as needed.
