Responsibilities

• Conduct material and stock audits across Stores.
• Perform cycle counting and perpetual inventory audits.
• Verify physical stock against SAP/ERP and identify variances.
• Audit material receiving, storage, issue and transfer processes.
• Verify FIFO, material identification, tagging, binning and traceability.
• Audit in-house parts, truck parts, panel parts, trims and production materials.
• Identify shortage, excess, obsolete, slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
• Investigate root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor documentation for material receipts, issues, transfers and adjustments.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, Purchase, PPC, Finance and Internal Audit.
• Track closure of audit observations and ensure corrective actions.
• Drive improvements in inventory accuracy, process compliance, 5S and material control.
• Support audits related to materials and inventory.

Role Purpose

Responsible for conducting material and inventory audits to ensure accuracy, traceability, process compliance and effective inventory control across Stores and Production.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct material audits, stock audits and inventory verification across Stores.
• Perform cycle counting and perpetual inventory audits.
• Verify physical stock against SAP/ERP system inventory and identify variances.
• Audit material receiving, GRN/MRN, storage, issue and transfer processes.
• Verify FIFO, material identification, tagging, binning and traceability.
• Conduct audits of in-house parts, truck parts, panel parts, trims and production materials.
• Identify shortage, excess, obsolete, slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
• Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Verify proper documentation and authorization for material receipts, issues, transfers and adjustments.
• Monitor compliance with Stores SOPs, work instructions and internal control procedures.
• Prepare audit reports, variance reports, ageing reports and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, Purchase, PPC, Finance and Internal Audit teams.
• Track closure of audit observations and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Drive improvements in inventory accuracy, process compliance, 5S and material control.
• Support internal, external and statutory audits related to materials and inventory.

Preferred Experience

7 to 12 years in Automotive/Commercial Vehicle manufacturing, Stores, Material Control or Inventory Audit, with strong exposure to SAP/ERP, cycle counting, perpetual inventory, physical stock verification and material reconciliation.
