Job summary

Kalpataru Limited in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Stores and Inventory Manager to drive aggressive inventory reduction across all sites and optimize stock levels.

You will monitor excess inventory, implement disposal actions, set re-order levels for a 45-day replenishment cycle, and ensure timely scrap disposal while coordinating with departments. Proficiency in SAP and strong stakeholder management are expected to lead a high-performing stores team.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and stores control.
• Familiarity with SAP software usage.
• Ability to monitor stock levels and coordinate with sites.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review excess inventory at sites for transfer at other sites. Identify stock not usable and take action for disposal
• Re-order levels to be introduced for all materials for replenishment cycle of 45 days.
• Ensure timely disposal of scrap at site to manage space and accounting stock.
• Ensure smooth functioning of stores department by resolving pending cases with concerned departments.
• Ensure development of team members by assessing and reviewing training needs of stores team and arrange training required to support and achieve departmental goals.
