Job summary

Duroshox is seeking an Asstt / Dy Manager - Stores to oversee material receipt, storage, and issuance to production. You will manage unloading, inspection, GRN posting, and document flow to Finance, while maintaining accurate BIN cards and inventory control.

The role requires graduation and 8-10 years in stores management, with expertise in SAP and lean inventory practices. Based in Maharashtra, the position emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Receipt, unloading, visual inspection, and quantity verification of incoming material.
• Verify supplier invoices, GRN posting, and hand over documents to Finance.
• Shift material to central stores and ensure correct item in correct location.
• Maintain BIN cards for all items and issue quantities per requisition.
• Ensure FIFO system and inventory accuracy relative to the system.
• Prepare shortage reports and communicate with buyers.
• Prepare MIS reports: shortage, stock statements, manpower cost, and GRN pending summary.

JOB PURPOSE

Proper receipt, material handling, storage & issue of required material to production.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receipt / unloading / visual inspection / physical quantity verification of incoming material.
• Verification of the supplier invoice, verification, GRN posting & handing over the documents to Finance.
• Shifting the material to the central stores.
• Ensuring right item & right place.
• Manintaining BIN cards for all the items.
• Issuing the exact quantity to production based on the purchase requisition.
• Ensuring physical inventory accuracy with respect to system.
• Adopting lean inventory management practices.
• Maintaining FIFO system.
• Preparing shortage report & sending to all the buyers.
• Preparing the MIS - Shortage report, stock statement, manpower cost report, GRN pending summary.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
