Alchemie Finechem Pvt. Ltd is seeking an S&OP Production Planner to translate demand forecasts into executable production and dispatch plans, aligning supply capacity with business demand across functions.
You will own end-to-end S&OP planning, maintain the production plan for a rolling 3-month horizon, and coordinate with Sales, Production and Procurement to ensure on-time, in-full delivery while optimising inventory and efficiency.
The S&O Production Planner translates demand forecast into executable production and dispatch plans, ensuring alignment
between supply capacity and business demand. This role sits at the heart of the Sales & Operations Planning cycle and works cross-
functionally with Sales, Production, and Procurement, to deliver on-time, in-full service levels while optimising inventory and
operational efficiency.
Own and drive end-to-end Sales and Operations (S&O) planning, maintaining the production plan aligned to the consensus
demand plan on a rolling 3-month horizon.
Coordinate with the Sales team to build and validate the demand plan, and organize periodic S&O meetings including
Demand Review, and Production Review.
Create a day-wise production plan cascaded across day, week, month, and quarter horizons.
Balance supply and demand by identifying gaps and capacity constraints; determine tradeoff decisions required and secure
sign-off from the Plant Head and Sales Director before execution.
Coordinate with the Procurement team to develop the RM procurement plan in line with the production plan.
Identify production risks and opportunities; escape and resolve issues proactively with key stakeholders.
Generate and maintain KPI dashboards including production plan attainment, schedule adherence, OTIF, and inventory
health.
Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and data accuracy.
23 years of experience in production planning or S&O in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Sales & Operations (S&O) processes, MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets
Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
