Job summary

Safran Aircraft Engine Services India Private Limited in Hyderabad seeks a seasoned Supply Chain professional to lead Production Planning Control (PPC), Master Production Schedule (MPS) and S&OP inputs. You will ensure alignment of demand, capacity, and material availability with business objectives, while maintaining SAP/ERP master schedule accuracy.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Master Scheduling, S&OP or related fields.
• Strong exposure to manufacturing environments and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience with SAP/ERP for master schedule and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead PPC activities and ensure accurate production planning for relevant lines.
• Manage MPS and S&OP inputs/outputs aligning demand, capacity, workload and material availability.
• Maintain SAP/ERP master schedule inputs ensuring data accuracy at MPS and production order level.
• Provide planning priorities to PPC to create, release and adapt production plans.
• Manage shop order execution from planning release to shipment of finished goods.
• Monitor production performance: adherence, on-time delivery, WIP, lead time and material consumption.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Drive rolling forecast activities for inventory including WIP, components, raw materials, finished goods.

Job description

Objective: Lead and coordinate Production Planning Control (PPC), Master Production Schedule (MPS), S&OP inputs, and inventory management activities to ensure that customer demand, production capacity, material availability, and inventory performance are aligned with business objectives

Role & responsibilities

• Lead PPC activities and ensure clear production planning for relevant production lines with the required accuracy level.
• Manage MPS and S&OP inputs/output by aligning demand, capacity, workload, material availability and customer priorities.
• Maintain SAP / ERP master schedule inputs and ensure planning data accuracy at MPS and production order level.
• Provide planning priorities and inputs to PPC to create, release and adapt production plans.
• Manage, review and control shop order execution from planning release until shipment of finished goods.
• Monitor production performance through planning adherence, OTD, WIP, production lead time, efficiency, productivity and material consumption.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance and other internal/external stakeholders to secure execution of the plan.
• Drive rolling forecast activities for inventory, including WIP, components / raw materials, finished goods, and forecasted stock levels.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Master Scheduling, S&OP, inventory management or industrial operations.
• Strong exposure to manufacturing / industrial environment and cross-functional coordination.
