Job summary

Garware Technical Fibres in Pune is seeking a skilled Supply & Demand Planner to develop and optimize planning strategies, ensuring timely availability of materials and finished goods. You will collaborate with procurement, production, logistics and finance to align demand with business plans.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical data, rough cut capacities, to predict supply disruptions and mitigate stock-out risk.

Role & responsibilities

Supply/Demand Planning:

• -Develop & optimize supply/Demand planning strategies to ensure timely availability of raw material and finished products, minimise stocks outs and excess inventory.
• -Prepare & Track Monthly/weekly/daily plan vs actual, discussion and fix the gaps with manufacturing teams.
• -Prioritise production orders, track schedules and adjust for fluctuation in demand priorities.

S&OP support:

• -Rough cut capacity planning input to prepare for S&OP meetings; align demand, supply, and financial plans.

Data Analysis & Supply Risk Mitigation:

• -Analyse historical data, rough cut capacities, activities to predict any supply disruptions and prepare action plan to mitigate stock out risk.

Collaboration:

• -Work with procurement, plant production scheduling team, logistics and Finance to align demand fulfilment as per the business plans.

Inventory Optimization:

• -Maintain optimal inventory levels to reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.

Performance Monitoring:

• -Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Scheduling Adherence, ATP fill rate, OTIF service levels & inventory management.

Process Improvement:

• -Refine supply planning, S&OP, inventory management processes and systems.
