Job summary

Ramesh Navalmal Jain is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate manufacturing activities and plan schedules to ensure timely order execution with optimal resource use. You will work with fabrication, machining, assembly, and painting shops to translate sales orders into actionable production plans.

You will monitor WIP, drive material and process flow across departments, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve delivery performance and shop-floor efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and load production capacity across departments.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on sales orders.
• Issue production schedules to fabrication, machining, assembly and painting shops.
• Coordinate with shop floor supervisors for execution per plan.
• Track progress and resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure smooth material and process flow between departments.
• Monitor WIP to maintain minimum levels.
• Ensure adherence to delivery dates.
• Update dispatch status to sales/customer service.
• Track daily output vs plan.
• Highlight deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Support efficiency and lead-time reduction initiatives.

Purpose of the Role : To plan, coordinate, monitor, and control production activities to ensure timely execution of manufacturing orders with optimum utilization of resources, minimum WIP, and adherence to delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales orders.
