Job summary

Jobs Hr Agency Vadodara in Vadodara, India, seeks a seasoned supply chain planner to lead S&OP, logistics, inventory optimization, and data-driven decision making.

You will coordinate across Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement and Finance to align business plans, improve forecast accuracy, and drive continuous improvement across planning, logistics, and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end S&OP process to balance demand, supply, inventory, and production capacities.
• Drive monthly demand forecasting, production planning, and supply planning processes.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of business plans.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and implement initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Identify supply-demand gaps and develop mitigation plans to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
• Establish planning governance and reporting mechanisms for effective decision making.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure timely and cost effective movement of raw materials and finished goods.
• Optimize transportation networks, freight costs, and distribution channels.
• Develop logistics strategies to improve service levels and reduce overall supply chain costs.
• Monitor logistics performance through key metrics such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), transportation costs, and delivery efficiency.
• Ensure availability and effective utilization of transportation resources, warehouses, and logistics infrastructure.
• Manage relationships with transporters, logistics service providers, warehouse operators, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
• Drive inventory optimization initiatives across raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and reduce excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Improve inventory turnover and working capital efficiency.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and commercial teams to optimize stock levels while maintaining customer service standards.
• Develop and implement best practices for supply chain planning and execution.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in planning, logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and process optimization.
• Drive operational excellence and cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain network.
• Utilize SAP and other supply chain planning tools for forecasting, planning, inventory management, and reporting.
• Develop dashboards and MIS reports for supply chain performance monitoring.
• Analyze market demand, logistics trends, and operational data to support business decisions.
• Work closely with Production, Procurement, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Business Planning teams.
• Lead and develop a high-performing planning and logistics team.
• Manage relationships with external logistics partners, transporters, warehouses, and service providers
