Responsibilities include 3D design ( NX and CATIA ), tooling and fixture design, quality system adherence, ERP/Oracle cost tracking, budget monitoring, and customer audits. The candidate should have proficiency in CATIA V5, NX, TS16949/TQM standards, with strong problem

Qualifications

Knowledge of tooling design and related processes.
Experience in reading customer master plans and translating to tooling.
Proficiency in CAD tools CATIA V5 and UG NX.
Strong problem analysis and quality system understanding.

Responsibilities

Design 3D tools and fixtures using NX/CATIA.
Plan and execute tooling development per master plan.
Coordinate with production and VPL on tool concept and progress.
Ensure on-time sample submission and zero mass-production issues.
Maintain ERP/Oracle data for PR, SRN/MRN, and budgeting.
Support customer audits and implement TPM/TQM standards.

Role Description New Model Development

Reporting to Unit Section Head Tooling

Responsibilities KRA (Key Result Areas) KPI (Key Performance Indicators)

Planning & Execution To prepare the Tool model wise plan & execution as per customer master plan. No. of default in customer requirements
On time reports submission
To ensure all customer specific requirements achieved as per tooling is concerned No. of parameters missed during mass production startup.
Design 3D design generation ( NX & CATIA ) of Quench Ring,AFX Tool,DBO Tool ,SPB Tool, & AFX Gripper Plate
Gauges & Fixtures Design as per the requirement of the Customer
Design of DBO tool blast head ,Bending ring and mould
Design of AFX tool blast head, Preforming rollers Bending ring and mould
Quality To coordinate with production and VPL to discuss the concept of the tool and how the development will progress No. of sample rejections
Variance in the specifications agreed vs. actual,On time approval
To conduct quality checks on the tool design and tool development intermediate processes to ensure 100% OK tool No. quality open issues in mass production transfer.
To execute the quality system requirements as per the company objectives in allocated activities ( TQM, TS, TPM etc. ) Adherence to the company schedules
Samples Delivery To ensure no issues arise from tooling point of view during the sampling process. If arised need to correct No delay in sample submission to customer as per customer milestone dead line.
Product Realization To close all issues before Mass production starts and get approval from production Target yield Vs actual during the initial control period (initial first three months of mass production) .
