Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. Mohali is seeking an experienced procurement and NPD specialist to support new product development across tooling, PPAP, and ECN closure.

You will handle procurement of machines, conveyors, testing equipment, and related tooling while coordinating with cross-functional teams to layout process flows and reduce non-value-added activities. Experience with SAP and Teamcenter, with a focus on DFA, CAPEX planning, and production knowledge, is essential for driving efficient

Qualifications

• NPD, tooling and PPAP knowledge is required.
• Experience with procurement of equipment and related testing is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and Teamcenter is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of new machines and tooling.
• Support NPD tooling, PPAP documentation and ECN closure.
• Install and commission equipment; plan shutdowns.
• Layout processes and machinery to reduce NVA and optimize space.
• Conduct time studies and assist Capex planning.
• Utilize SAP and Teamcenter for engineering data and DFA.
• Kitting for sub-assemblies and main-line assembly.

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

NPD- Tooling, ORC closures, Facilities and developmental activities within NPD timeline and preparing and maintaining PPAP documentation.

Hand s on exp in Procurement of new Machines, SPM, Conveyors, PTO Dynamo Testing, Roller Bed testing and MHE.

Installation and commissioning of Equipment's.Shutdown planning and execution.

ECN implementation on line with closure of PPAP documentation.Layouting of Process flows and Machineries to create space and reduce NVA.

Procurement of new tightening tools.

Basic knowledge of Time study.Capex planning Y-O-Y.Basic knowledge of SAP.

Basic knowledge of team centre for doing DFA.Kitting for knowledge sub assy and main line assy
