Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs for all plant machinery and utilities. Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules and achieve targeted PM compliance. Minimize machine downtime through root-cause analysis and timely corrective actions.
• Analyze breakdown trends and implement CAPA.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels of critical spare parts and monitor maintenance expenses with cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and maintain maintenance records, SOPs, and equipment history.
• Ensure plant safety, electrical safety, and statutory compliance; coordinate with authorities and service providers.

Plant Address: GAT, 836, 838, 864, 865, 866, Asawali, Taluka-Khandala, Dist-Satara, Maharashtra.

Qualification: BE / B Tech Electrical

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance of heavy fabrication/manufacturing industries.

Experience in fabrication equipment, CNC machines, welding machines, compressors, DG sets, EOT cranes, hydraulic systems, and utility equipment, Beam line, milling machines & lathe machines.

Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.

Job Description

Maintenance Planning & Execution

Develop, implement, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs for all plant machinery and utilities. Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules and achieve targeted PM compliance. Minimize machine downtime through effective root cause analysis and timely corrective actions. Monitor machine health and reliability to improve equipment availability and productivity. Ensure all machines and equipment remain in safe and efficient working condition. Coordinate maintenance shutdowns and major overhauls as per production requirements.

Equipment Reliability & Continuous Improvement

Analyze breakdown trends and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Spare Parts & Cost Control

Maintain optimum inventory levels of critical spare parts and consumables. Monitor maintenance expenses and implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising reliability and safety. Prepare and control maintenance budgets and expenditure reports. Coordinate with vendors for procurement, servicing, and annual maintenance contracts.

Quality Management & ISO Compliance

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and maintain relevant maintenance records and documentation. Develop and update SOPs, work instructions, maintenance checklists, and equipment history records. Participate in internal and external quality audits and ensure closure of audit observations. Support continual improvement initiatives under the Quality Management System.

Safety & Statutory Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to plant safety standards, electrical safety practices, and statutory requirements. Monitor compliance related to electrical installations, lifting equipment, DG sets, compressors, and other utilities. Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions. Coordinate with government authorities, inspectors, and statutory bodies as required. Maintain good relationships with external agencies and service providers.

Salary Range: CTC to Lac / Year
