Job summary

HR Innovation Group in Pune (Bhosari) seeks an experienced Maintenance professional with 10–15 years in forging/machining. You will lead preventive maintenance planning, monitor breakdowns, maintain KPI-driven actions, and supervise skill development for the team.

Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement for spares, managing electrical and utility systems, and driving root-cause actions to minimize downtime. BE or Diploma required, with strong plant-safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in mechanical engineering with 10–15 years in forging/machining industries.
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning, MTTR/MTBF tracking, and equipment uptime.
• Strong knowledge of automobile sector and plant safety.

Responsibilities

• Verify skill matrix and training needs for subordinates.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and report to HR.
• Prepare and monitor annual preventive maintenance plan.
• Monitor breakdown percentage and formulate action plans.
• Monitor stock of critical spares and coordinate with procurement.
• Report critical issues and major concerns to management.
• Monitor MTTR, MTBF and respond to deviations.
• Track departmental KPI and develop corrective actions.
• Pause production on machines during breakdowns.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for development and customer complaints.
• Maintain electrical installations (HT/LT), DG sets, breakers.
• Maintain plant utilities: compressor, chillers, AC, ammonia, LPG, nitrogen systems.
• Maintain and monitor furnace alarm systems; address non-conformances.

• Collect data, analyze and propose improvements.
• Take corrective action if processes are out of control.

Strong knowledge of Automobile Sector and its industry requirements.

Responsibility & Authority:

• Verify skill matrix &training needs for their subordinates.
• Evaluate the training effectiveness and give feedback to HR.
• Prepare and monitor annual preventive maintenance plan.
• Monitor breakdown percentage & prepare action plan.
• Monitor stock of critical spares & inform purchase accordingly.
• Report management timely of critical issues & major Concerns.
• To monitor breakdown percentage, MTTR, MTBF.
• Monitor Departmental KPI & prepare Action Plan.
• To stop production on the machines in case of breakdown.
• Participate in CFT meeting in Development & Customer Complaints.
• Maintain different electrical installation as HT and LT section, DG set, HT and LT breaker.
• Maintain Utility equipments like Compressor, Chillers, AC system, Ammonia system, LPG system, Nitrogen system for plant etc.
• Maintain and Monitor Alarm systems on the furnace. Act on any non-conformance.
• POKAYOKE verification.
• Collect data analyse it propose action to improve.
• Take corrective action if TUS and SAT are out of control.

Educational Qualification: BE or DME (Mech) / 10- 15 Yrs Exp.in mechanical industry
