Responsibilities

• Maintenance Operations: Manage and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for all plant machinery and utilities.
• Develop maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurrent breakdowns and implement effective solutions.
• Evaluate technical details of new equipment. Work on detailing of costing of new projects.
• Project Management: Oversee erection, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective project completion without affecting regular production.
• Spare Parts and Inventory Management: Optimize spare parts inventory to reduce costs while ensuring availability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to minimize lead times and costs.
• Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor maintenance teams, assigning tasks based on expertise.
• Provide training on safety protocols, equipment handling, and process improvements.
• Compliance and Safety: Implement and maintain quality management systems, including ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, and 45001:2018.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections.
• Budget and Cost Optimization: Manage budgets for maintenance projects and operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings in spare parts and maintenance activities.
• Performance Improvement: Utilize Kaizen and other methodologies to enhance machinery performance and plant efficiency.
• Analyze consumption of resources like water and electricity and implement changes to reduce consumption.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and reliability of maintenance operations.
• Actively contributes to projects designed to optimize machinery performance and reduce maintenance costs.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in factory administration, maintenance, or facility management.
• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, vendor coordination, and safety compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, inventory management, and maintenance reporting.
• Excellent problem‑solving, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Preferred Candidate Location: Candidates from Navi Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan, or nearby areas will be given preference.
