Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Manager Maintenance to lead and manage all maintenance activities at our technical textile manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant machinery, utilities, and equipment through effective preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices. The role involves supervising the maintenance team, minimizing equipment downtime, improving machine performance, and supporting uninterrupted production operations. The Manager will also be responsible for maintenance planning, spare parts management, breakdown analysis, safety compliance, and coordination with production and engineering teams to enhance overall plant productivity.The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of textile manufacturing machinery, mechanical and electrical systems, utilities maintenance, and maintenance management practices, along with proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven equipment maintenance experience (i) in a textile, technical textiles, industrial fabric industry or textile process house coating /finishing industry (ii) utility equipment’s like boilers. air compressors, water treatment plant / effluent treatment/ chillers, Diesel Generators, etc. Thorough understanding of textile machinery and processes such as twisting, warping, weaving and dipping / coating lines.
- Planning, organizing, preventive maintenance. Carrying out periodical inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues before Break-down occurs.
- Attending to Break-downs ensuring minimum equipment down-time. Break down analysis from history cards,-root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Monitoring equipment inventory and placing of orders when necessary. Control of spare parts inventory
- Planning, organizing calibration of Plant equipment and lab equipment calibration - Familiarity with MSA
- Keeping maintenance logs and report on daily activities. Reviewing them weekly / monthly. Training of Engineers / technicians / fitters
- Maintaining cordial relationships with contractors / service providers and government agencies. Conversant with ISO 9001/ ISO 14001/ OSHAS requirements.
- Proven equipment maintenance experience (i) in a textile/ textile process house (ii) utility equipment’s Thorough understanding of textile machinery and processes (such as twisting, warping, weaving and finishing operations) and utility equipment’s
- Planning, organizing, preventive maintenance. Carrying out periodical inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues before Break-down occurs.
- Attending to Break-downs ensuring minimum equipment down-time. Break down analysis from history cards,-root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Ensuring # Equipment safety, plant safety / security, ## compliance with company's health and safety policies. Operations are in compliance with all required regulations.

- Training of technicians / fitters
- Maintaining cordial relationships with contractors / service providers and government agencies
- Conversant with ISO 9001/ ISO 14001/ OSHAS requirements.
- Computer / CAD Skills
- Implementation of TPM practices, 5S workplace management, and use of Root Cause Analysis tools (such as Ishikawa/Fishbone Diagram, Why-Why analysis) for continuous improvement and reduction of equipment breakdowns.
