Job summary

Torrent Power is seeking a finance professional to support acquisition processes. The role focuses on analyzing acquisition proposals, conducting due diligence, and preparing reports for executive review.

You will develop financial models, evaluate valuation impacts, and draft reports, offers, and other transaction documents to assist management in decision making. You will coordinate with DD Agencies, present options and recommendations, and ensure accuracy in metrics like IRR and NPV.

• Analyzing various proposals for acquisitions received by the Company.
• Studying documents for due diligence, including Financial Statements, Accounting records, Loan Documents, Legal, Commercial, Taxation, Regulatory as well as understanding of technical, contractual and operational aspects

Role & responsibilities

• Analyzing various proposals for acquisitions received by the Company.
• Studying various documents for Due diligence (primarily Financial Statements, Accounting records, Loan Documents, Legal, Commercial, Taxation, Regulatory as well as
• understanding of technical, contractual and operational aspects), preparation of DD reports, evaluation of valuation impacts and dealing with DD Agencies, if any
• Understanding and Preparation of Financial model, financial projections , undertake valuation exercise and analyse various financial ratios (IRR, NPV, Enterprise Value, Book Value,
• Free Cash flows to the firms, Free Cash flows to the equity)
• Preparation of Reports, Presentations, providing options/ recommendations to the management on the proposals.
• Preparation of non-binding offers, binding offers, non-disclosure agreements, share purchase agreements and other transaction documents.
