Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct comprehensive financial modelling, valuation, and analysis of target companies, including historical financial performance, projections, and key metrics.
• Assess financial statements, cash flow, debt structures, and capitalization to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Develop sensitivity analyses and scenario modelling to evaluate the impact of different variables on the transaction’s outcomes.

Due Diligence:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data during due diligence processes.
• Examine legal, regulatory, operational, and financial aspects of target companies to identify potential issues and synergies.
• Prepare due diligence reports summarizing findings and recommendations for senior management.

Market Research:

• Conduct industry and market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential targets for M&A activities.
• Evaluate the strategic fit of potential targets within the organization’s growth and diversification strategies.

Transaction Documentation:

• Assist in the preparation of transaction-related documents, including financial models, pitch materials, presentations, and offering memoranda.
• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure accurate and compliant documentation for transactions.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, legal advisors, and investment bankers.
• Participate in meetings, conference calls, and presentations to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Post-Transaction Analysis:

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of completed transactions, tracking key performance indicators and integration progress.
• Provide analysis and recommendations for optimizing post-transaction value realization.
