Job summary

Gi Group in Gurgaon is seeking an M&A professional to support end-to-end execution, including target evaluation, due diligence, industry analysis and transaction documentation support.

You will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors, prepare investment materials, and assist in post-merger integration tracking to ensure a smooth close.

Qualifications

• MBA is mandatory.
• 3+ years experience in M&A or corporate development.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct desktop due diligence based on the IM, seller data, financial statements, and public sources.
• Review IMs and projections; create structured Excel datebooks highlighting observations and views.
• Analyze teasers and IMs and prepare initial assessment presentations of the Target business.
• Perform industry research from reports and secondary data; develop POV notes on dynamics and growth potential.
• Support post-merger integration activities, including trackers and crossfunctional coordination.
• Coordinate with external consultants such as due diligence partners and investment bankers.

Role Purpose

Support end-to-end M&A execution

• including target evaluation,
• desktop due diligence,
• industry and business analysis,
• preparation of investment materials,
• coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors, and assistance in post-merger integration tracking and transaction documentation support.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct desktop due diligence based on the Information Memorandum (IM),
• seller-provided details, financial statements, and publicly available information.
• Review IMs and business projections; create structured Excel datebooks highlighting key observations, insights, and preliminary views.
• Analyze teasers and IMs and prepare presentation materials covering the initial assessment of the Target business.
• Perform industry research by reviewing reports and secondary data; develop pointofview notes on industry dynamics, future growth potential, and macro factors, including government policies.
• Support postmerger integration activities, including preparation of trackers, coordination with crossfunctional teams, and monitoring the status of integration activities.
• Coordinate with external consultants such as due diligence partners and investment bankers.
• Provide support on transactionrelated legal documentation.
