Job summary

Busy Infotech is seeking a research-focused professional in Delhi to identify and profile investment/acquisition opportunities in India. You will analyse financial and non-financial data, interact with founders, and prepare concise management briefing notes.

Responsibilities include building financial models, performing scenario analyses, and coordinating due diligence with internal and external teams. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, presentation skills, Excel & data analytics and detail oriented.
• Sound knowledge of financial statements & ability to interpret MCA filings & data.
• Strong business acumen, research-driven & documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structured business profiles covering business model, product offering, customer segments, ownership structure, and financial performance.
• Analyse businesses using MCA filings, financial statements, and publicly available data to assess strategic and financial fit.
• Conduct first-level outreach and discussions with founders/promoters to understand business vision, growth plans, and transaction expectations; organize collected data into concise management briefing notes.
• Identify potential product, distribution, and go-to-market synergies with the company’s offerings and highlight value creation opportunities post-acquisition.
• Identify & shortlist potential acquisition targets aligned with company’s strategic focus areas.
• Assist in building financial models, growth projections, and scenario analysis to support valuation and deal structuring discussions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors for diligence; track progress and maintain issue logs.

• Prepare structured business profiles covering business model, product offering, customer segments, ownership structure, and financial performance. Analyse businesses using MCA filings, financial statements, and publicly available data to assess strategic and financial fit
• Conduct first-level outreach and discussions with founders/promoters to understand business vision, growth plans, and transaction expectations. Organise collected data into concise management briefing notes
• Identify potential product, distribution, and go-to-market synergies with the company’s existing offerings. Highlight value creation opportunities post-acquisition
• Identify & shortlist potential acquisition targets aligned with company’s strategic focus areas
