Job summary

Jalapeno Foods is seeking an LMS professional to manage and enhance our Learning Management System for a growing hospitality organization. You will oversee end-to-end LMS administration, content management, learning analytics and development of engaging digital learning modules for FOH and BOH teams.

The role involves collaborating with Operations, HR and Training to deploy learning interventions, maintain content, and drive LMS adoption across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with LMS administration and content management.
• Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI and learning content standards.
• Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, iSpring or similar platforms.
• Strong MS Excel and Google Sheets for reporting and analytics.
• Understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete LMS platform including user administration, course management and learning pathways.
• Upload, maintain and periodically amend training content, SOPs, assessments and certifications on the LMS platform.
• Create and publish interactive e-learning modules using SCORM and other compatible learning standards.
• Design digital learning programmes for FOH, BOH and leadership teams.
• Generate and share training MIS reports, certification trackers and compliance dashboards with stakeholders.
• Track outlet-wise and department-wise training completion and certification status.
• Coordinate with Operations, HR and Training teams for timely deployment of learning interventions.
• Drive LMS adoption and provide learner support across the organization.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound LMS professional to manage and enhance our Learning Management System for a growing hospitality organization. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end LMS administration, content management, learning analytics, and the development of engaging digital learning modules for Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete LMS platform including user administration, course management and learning pathways.
• Upload, maintain and periodically amend training content, SOPs, assessments and certifications on the LMS platform.
• Create and publish interactive e-learning modules using SCORM and other compatible learning standards.
• Design digital learning programmes for FOH, BOH and leadership teams.
• Generate and share training MIS reports, certification trackers and compliance dashboards with stakeholders.
• Track outlet-wise and department-wise training completion and certification status.
• Ensure periodic updates of menu training, SOPs, operational guidelines and mandatory compliance modules.
• Coordinate with Operations, HR and Training teams for timely deployment of learning interventions.
• Conduct periodic LMS audits to ensure data accuracy and content relevance.
• Create quizzes, assessments and certification programmes to measure learning effectiveness.
• Support LMS enhancements, integrations and automation initiatives.
• Drive LMS adoption and provide learner support across the organization.

Technical Competencies

• Hands-on experience in LMS administration and content management.
• Strong working knowledge of SCORM, xAPI and learning content standards.
• Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, iSpring or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in creating interactive learning modules and assessments.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for reporting and analytics.
• Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.

Educational Qualifications

Graduate or Post Graduate in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Education Technology or related disciplines. Certifications in Instructional Design, LMS Administration or E-learning Development will be an added advantage.
