The Assistant Manager, CentralizedRecruiting provides frontline leadership for the GCN centralized recruitmentteam supporting high-volume, full-cycle recruitment for defined roles withinthe HOS and ILOB lines of business. This role supervises the daily work ofrecruiters assigned to a designated line of business and is accountable formaintaining candidate throughput through offer extension, meetingservice-level expectations, and ensuring consistent execution of standardizedrecruitment processes.
The Assistant Manager monitorsrecruiter productivity, reviews daily performance metrics and service-levelagreements, coaches team members, addresses performance gaps, and escalatesmaterial issues to the Senior Manager for resolution. Success requires strongpeople leadership, data orientation, process discipline, problem-solvingability, and the capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-demandenvironment.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment Delivery & Candidate Throughput
- Supervise the day-to-day work of recruiterssupporting high-volume, full-cycle recruitment for defined HOS and ILOB roleswithin an assigned line of business.
- Set clear daily priorities, assign work, andmaintain focus on candidate throughput through offer extension.
- Monitor requisition activity, recruitercapacity, pipeline health, and workflow bottlenecks; adjust assignmentswithin the team as needed.
Productivity, Metrics & SLA Management
- Monitor recruiter productivity and reviewdaily service-level agreements, key performance indicators, and operationalmetrics to drive performance.
- Use applicant tracking system data, Power BIdashboards, and structured reports to identify trends, risks, andopportunities for improvement.
- Provide timely performance updates andescalate delivery, capacity, quality, or compliance concerns to the SeniorManager for resolution.
People Leadership & Performance Management
- Coach, develop, and support recruiters throughregular feedback, performance discussions, and on-the-job guidance.
- Address underperformance promptly, establishimprovement expectations, document actions, and partner with the SeniorManager as appropriate.
- Promote accountability, collaboration,urgency, and a strong service orientation across the team.
Process Governance & Quality
- Ensure recruiters adhere to standardizedrecruitment processes, governing guidelines, documentation requirements, andapproved hiring practices.
- Review work quality and data accuracy,identify process gaps, and reinforce consistent use of the applicant trackingsystem and related tools.
- Support implementation of process improvementsand operational changes that improve speed, consistency, quality, andcandidate experience.
Stakeholder Communication & Issue Resolution
- Maintain effective communication with TalentAcquisition leaders and business stakeholders regarding progress, risks,priorities, and hiring outcomes.
- Resolve day-to-day recruiting issues withinthe team and escalates matters requiring broader leadership support orbusiness decisions.
- Partner with the Senior Manager and relatedteams to ensure aligned execution and timely completion of hiring activities.
Education& Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experiencein Talent Acquisition, recruiting operations, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience supervising or leadinga Talent Acquisition delivery team.
- Experience supporting high-volume, full-cyclerecruitment in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience monitoring recruiter productivity,service levels, and operational metrics.
