Job Description
PositionSummary:
The Manager, Sourcing, Candidate Engagement, andTechnology provides leadership for a team of Sourcers, Candidate EngagementSpecialists, and TA Analysts responsible for mining candidate databases,identifying qualified talent, applicant flow analysis, recruiting funnelreporting, and operational insights across divisions. The role ensures theteam reinforces consistent data and process standards, supports businesshiring priorities, gathers accuratesource-system data, builds recurring and ad-hoc reporting, identifiesmeaningful performance variances, and packages findings for weekly applicantflow reports and Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs).
The Manager oversees daily work allocation, quality,timeliness, and team performance while partnering closely with the USRetained Team, enablement partners, and business stakeholders. The teambuilds the underlying analysis and reporting; the US Retained Team reviewsthe outputs, adds business context, and presents insights to leadership.Success requires strong people leadership, analytical judgment, communicationskills, process discipline, and the ability to translate recruiting data intoclear, actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
Talent Identification & Database Mining
- Lead the team in mining theapplicant tracking system and candidate relationship management databaseusing the Job Recommender System and other approved sourcingtools.
- Ensure qualified candidatesare identified based on role requirements, available profiledata, prior applicant activity, and defined sourcing criteria.
- Oversee the addition of newcandidates to the database and reinforce accurate, complete,and timely candidate-record maintenance.
Talent Pool & Candidate Slate Management
- Direct the organization and ongoingmaintenance of qualified candidate pools aligned to priority roles,divisions, and hiring needs.
- Ensure passive sourced candidatesare organized into appropriate folders within the CRM anddelivered as curated candidate slates to recruitersand sourcers.
- Review candidate lists forrelevance, quality, duplication, and readinessbefore handoff to the US team.
- Oversee approved communications toqualified candidates to gauge interest and connect responsive candidateswith recruiters.
- Ensure the team filters and prepareswarm leads so US recruiters and sourcers can prioritizehigh-value voice outreach.
- Monitor candidate responses, poolactivity, and handoff outcomes to support continuous improvement insourcing effectiveness.
Applicant FlowAnalysis & Reporting
- Oversee the collection and validation ofapplication volume and recruiting funnel data from approved source systems.
- Direct the creation of pivot tables, customreports, dashboards, and role-specific PowerPoint presentations.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of theweekly applicant flow performance report and Monthly Operating Reviewmaterials.
- Review analysis for significant variancesacross divisions, emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Highlight divisions demonstrating strongperformance and surface best practices for further study and potentialscaling.
- Manage the daily activities, priorities,workload, and deliverables of the Candidate Engagement Specialist team.
- Set clear expectations for quality, accuracy,responsiveness, and completion timelines; monitor progress and addressdelivery gaps.
- Coach, motivate, and develop team membersthrough regular feedback, performance discussions, and on-the-job guidance.
- Balance recurring reporting obligations withad-hoc data requests and changing business priorities.
StakeholderPartnership & Communication
- Collaborate with the US Retained Team toensure reporting outputs are complete, accurate, and ready for contextualreview and leadership presentation.
- Partner with the enablement team andparticipate in review meetings to explain findings, clarify methodology, andsupport follow-up actions.
- Communicate trends, material variances,reporting risks, and delivery status clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Respond to ad-hoc data and reporting requestswith appropriate prioritization, accuracy, and stakeholder follow-through.
Data Quality,Process & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain consistent reporting definitions,documentation, and quality-control practices across recurring and ad-hocdeliverables.
- Identify opportunities to streamline datagathering, reporting, and presentation processes while improving reliabilityand usability.
- Promote appropriate handling of confidentialcandidate, employee, and business information.
Education& Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experiencein sourcing, candidate engagement, talent acquisition operations, recruitinganalytics, recruitment technology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supervisingemployees in an operational, analytics, recruiting, or related environment.
- Experience developing recurring reports,analyzing performance data, and translating findings into business-readymaterials.
- Experience managing multiple priorities,deadlines, and stakeholder requests in a fast-paced environment.
Must HaveSkills
- Strong people leadership, coaching,motivation, and performance-management capabilities.
- Proficiency with applicant trackingsystems and candidate relationship management platforms,including Talemetry or comparable tools.
- Experience using vendor-specific sourcingplatforms, such as Indeed, to support candidate identification and pipelinedevelopment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel,including pivot tables, data manipulation, and custom reporting.
- Proficiency in Power BI and MicrosoftPowerPoint, including development of leadership-ready reporting andpresentation materials.
- Working knowledge of GHR, HR Insights,applicant tracking systems, and Talemetry or comparable candidaterelationship management platforms.
- Ability to analyze application volume andrecruiting funnel performance, identify material variances, and communicateactionable findings.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentationcommunication skills, including the ability to engage effectively withbusiness stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, data-qualityorientation, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities.
