Job summary

Oil States International in India is seeking a qualified Production Supervisor to oversee daily fabrication, machining and assembly activities on the shop floor, ensure material requisition, control inventory, and maintain safety and quality standards.

The role requires 9–12 years in heavy fabrication, ITI Fitter or Diploma/B.E in Mechanical Engineering, and hands-on leadership. You will read drawings, supervise manpower, and coordinate with stores, PPC and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• ITI fitter or Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Extensive fabrication/heavy fabrication shop experience.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in heavy fabrication shop.
• Experience in crane manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily Production Activities as per the schedule given.
• Requisition of Material on day-to-day basis
• Fabrication, Machining and Assembly work
• Supervision of material while loading and unloading.
• Ensuring optimal use of equipment’s, Material, Accessories and Consumables

Qualifications:

• ITI – Fitter or Diploma/ B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• If ITI fitter 10 to 15 years, if Diploma// B.E/B.Tech then 9 to 12 years. where fabrication processes are involved, preferably in the Crane Manufacturing or Engineering Industry.
• Where at least 5 years’ experience in supervisory role in Heavy Fabrication shop.
