Job summary

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Fitter, Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering, or related trade.
• 7 years of experience in fabrication, fitting, or metalworking operations.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and fabrication layouts.
• Knowledge of Vernier calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fitting and alignment of fabricated parts and structures.
• Operate fabrication machinery such as drilling machines, grinders, gas cutting equipment, and welding machines.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.
• Conduct repairs, modifications, and maintenance of fabricated structures and equipment.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with supervisors, welders, and production teams to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment.
• Report material shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns to management.

Required Qualifications
