Job summary

Dishman Carbogen Amcis in Ahmedabad, India is seeking an experienced Import Operations professional to manage end-to-end import processes, documentation, and LC management. The role requires coordinating with Finance, Customs, CHA, banks, and overseas suppliers to ensure timely clearance of consignments.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of DGFT regulations, banking procedures, and cargo movement, with emphasis on accurate documentation and data management for MIS reports.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in EXIM, Import Operations, International Trade, or Supply Chain.
• Strong knowledge of Import Documentation, LC Management, Customs Clearance, and Banking Procedures.
• Experience working with CHA, Customs, Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, and Banks.
• Good knowledge of DGFT, Foreign Trade Regulations, and Import Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Import Operations and Import Documentation.
• Handle Import LC (Letter of Credit) and Inland LC processes with banking partners.

• Ensure timely custom clearance of import consignments at Ahmedabad and Mumbai locations.
• Manage import-related documentation and compliance requirements.
• Monitor shipment status and coordinate with stakeholders for seamless material movement.
• Maintain import MIS, records, and data management.
