Job summary

Praj, a leading engineering and project execution company, is seeking a seasoned Proposal & Procurement specialist to drive PBEN and PCTP engagements from Pune.

You will coordinate vendors, evaluate offers for technical and commercial fit, document communications, and collaborate with engineering and proposal teams to meet bidding deadlines, while tracking market trends.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in proposal engineering, estimation, or procurement.
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and commercial terms.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Required Certification/s: Supply chain management.

• Proposal & Procurement for PBEN & PCTP
• Vendor Coordination: Request, follow up, and collect quotations/offers from vendors and subcontractors
• Offer Evaluation: Review and analyse vendor proposals for technical compliance, commercial terms, and alignment with project requirements
• Documentation: Maintain records of vendor communications, quotations, and comparison sheets
• Collaboration: Work closely with the vendors, engineering, and proposal teams to ensure all technical and commercial aspects are addressed
• Deadline Management: Ensure timely receipt of vendor offers to meet bidding schedules
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on vendor capabilities, pricing trends, and industry standards
