Job summary

Alkem Laboratories in Mumbai seeks a skilled civil/MEP project professional to coordinate architectural, structural and MEP interfaces on site, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations. You will review drawings, approve civil drawings, manage earthwork and foundations, and guarantee cleanroom finishes, covings, epoxy floors and waterproofing.

The role requires overseeing multiple contractors, daily progress tracking, cost control, and supporting GMP audits and equipment installation

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with corporate SMEs, consultants for architectural, structural and MEP interface designs.
• Review and approve civil drawings, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Finalize GMP zoning and building layout.
• Ensure proper personnel, material and waste flow as per regulatory expectations.
• Manage execution of earthwork, foundations, RCC, PEB, masonry and finishing works.
• Ensure cleanroom-compatible civil finishes, covings, epoxy floors, wall finishes and waterproofing.
• Implement quality control systems, inspection checklists and workmanship standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with EHS norms, site safety practices and statutory requirements.
• Manage multiple contractors, daily progress tracking and resource planning.
• Monitor project schedules, billing certifications and cost control.
• Address site constraints, design changes and constructability challenges.
• Coordinate with HVAC, Electrical and Utility teams for embedded services and openings.
• Support GMP audits, internal inspections and regulatory walkthroughs.
• Support area readiness for equipment installation and qualification activities.
