Qualifications

• Experience – 0–3 years in Food Services or Retail; IHM Freshers welcome.
• Speaks/reads English and basic math for guest service and cash handling.
• Onboarding of new employees and team building.

Responsibilities

• Leads shift operations to ensure outstanding guest experience and service speed.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and deployment to meet targets.
• Implements safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards inside and outside the store.
• Develops team through training, coaching and performance feedback.
• Drives local store marketing and community engagement.

The Shift Manager plays a critical role in leading store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring outstanding guest experience, team development, and achievement of business goals. This position offers hands‑on leadership experience and a clear career growth path.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Leads Operational Excellence & Guest Experience.
• Handles all guest concerns using LEADS with urgency and empathy.
• Responds to guest feedback with actionable plans to improve service.
• Ensures shifts are appropriately staffed to achieve service speed goals.
• Empowers the team to satisfy guest needs and resolve concerns effectively.
• Executes processes to meet safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards inside and outside the store.
• Communicates guest feedback to the team and involves them in action plans.
• Builds Team Talent
• Handles employee concerns promptly and fairly.
• Treats all team members with respect and ensures proper training before deployment.
• Provides regular communication on goals and results.
• Sources, trains, retains, and develops team members to enhance guest experience.
• Executes effective scheduling, cross‑training, and deployment.
• Implements development plans for high‑potential team members.
• Drives Sales Growth
• Owns local store marketing and integrates into the community.
• Tracks performance results and communicates goals and action plans to the team.
• Ensures restaurant maintenance and cleanliness standards are met.
• Guarantees product availability and adherence to quality standards.
• Promotes suggestive selling techniques to boost sales.

• Collaborates with other managers to resolve issues.
• Discusses shift plans and goals with the team.
• Adjusts assignments during shifts to achieve operational goals.
• Executes travel paths and delegates tasks effectively.
• Ensures staffing levels meet hospitality and speed objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

• Skills: Speaks/Reads English, Math, Onboarding of new employees, Team building, Conflict management, Root cause analysis, problem‑solving, at least 18 years of age
• Experience – Minimum 0-3 years of experience in Food Services or Retail industry & IHM Freshers
