Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations
  • Manage complete day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing of the store.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to company SOPs, operational standards and processes.
  • Ensure smooth deployment of manpower across shifts based on business requirements.
  • Monitor service speed, productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all equipment, facilities and restaurant infrastructure are maintained properly.
  • Coordinate with the Area Manager and support functions for operational requirements.
2. Sales & Business Performance
  • Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
  • Analyse sales trends, ADS, transactions and product mix and take corrective actions.
  • Drive sales through effective execution of local and company-led promotions.
  • Monitor store P&L and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimisation.
  • Track key business KPIs and ensure timely action on performance gaps.
3. People Management
  • Recruit, onboard, train and develop restaurant team members in coordination with HR/Operations.
  • Prepare effective manpower deployment and shift rosters.
  • Ensure attendance, discipline, grooming and performance standards.
  • Conduct regular team huddles and performance discussions.
  • Coach and develop Shift Managers and Team Members for future roles.
  • Identify high performers and create a talent pipeline.
  • Address employee grievances and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Control employee attrition through engagement, recognition and effective people management.
4. Customer Experience
  • Ensure excellent customer service and a strong customer-first culture.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor service quality, order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the restaurant maintains the required cleanliness, ambience and hospitality standards.
  • Collect customer feedback and implement improvement actions.
5. Food Quality, Safety & Hygiene
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure adherence to approved recipes, portion control and product specifications.
  • Conduct regular quality and hygiene checks.
  • Ensure proper temperature control, storage and food handling practices.
  • Maintain required food safety documentation and records.
  • Immediately address any food safety or quality deviation.
6. Inventory, Wastage & Cost Control
  • Maintain optimum stock levels and ensure product availability.
  • Conduct daily/periodic inventory checks and reconciliation.
  • Control food wastage, variance, shrinkage and unnecessary consumption.
  • Ensure proper receiving, storage and rotation of inventory.
  • Monitor expiry and near-expiry products.
  • Raise stock requirements as per business needs and approved processes.
7. Cash & Revenue Integrity
  • Ensure strict compliance with cash handling and banking procedures.
  • Monitor POS transactions, billing and daily sales reconciliation.
  • Ensure every sale is properly billed and recorded.
  • Prevent cash leakage, revenue leakage, pilferage and other integrity issues.
  • Ensure timely banking/deposit of collections as per company policy.
  • Immediately report any cash variance or suspected integrity concern.
8. Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, statutory requirements and food safety regulations.
  • Maintain all required licenses, certificates, registers and store records.
  • Ensure readiness for internal, operational, food safety and statutory audits.
  • Close audit observations within defined timelines.
  • Ensure zero tolerance for fraud, theft, manipulation or policy violations.
9. Training & Development
  • Conduct on-the-job training for all team members.
  • Ensure completion of mandatory training and certifications.
  • Develop team capability on product knowledge, food safety, customer service and operational procedures.
  • Conduct regular coaching and skill assessments.
  • Build a strong succession pipeline for Shift Manager and Store Manager positions.
10. Reporting & Communication
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Review store performance with the Area Manager regularly.
  • Communicate operational issues, manpower gaps, maintenance requirements and business risks proactively.
  • Maintain proper documentation and store records.

Candidate Profile
Education:
