DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC, Coimbatore Campus, seeks an experienced IT infrastructure professional to maintain overall IT systems for office and shopfloor operations and to support ERP, MES, SAP and related production software.

The role requires 8-12 years of experience, PGDITM, and hands-on management of network, server, security, and production IT, including CCTV and access control systems.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :Maintain overall IT infrastructure for office and shopfloor operations.Support ERP, MES, SAP, and production-related software systems.Ensure smooth network connectivity for SMT, THT, testing, warehouse, and office areas.Manage desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, barcode systems, and handheld devices.Provide system access, email IDs, user rights, and password control for employees.Support machine-to-system integration for production equipment and traceability systems.Maintain servers, data storage, backup systems, and recovery plans.Ensure uptime of shopfloor terminals, label printers, and production PCs.Coordinate with vendors for IT hardware, software licenses, AMC, and service support.Handle cybersecurity, antivirus, firewall, data protection, and access security.Support CCTV, access control, biometric devices, and security-related IT systems.Resolve day-to-day IT tickets for users with minimum downtime.Maintain IT asset records, issue/return logs, and system configuration details.Support software installation, updates, patch management, and version control.Ensure data accuracy and connectivity between procurement, stores, production, quality, and dispatch.Assist in report generation, dashboard setup, and data extraction for management review.Train employees on IT systems, usage standards, and cybersecurity awareness.Support new project setup including network, systems, and production line IT readiness.Ensure compliance with customer, audit, and information security requirements.Plan future IT improvements for automation, traceability, and smart manufacturing.
