Job summary

Aniaaz Consulting is seeking a seasoned Learning & Development leader to craft and implement the annual strategy across manufacturing sites in Visakhapatnam and beyond. You will design programs spanning technical, functional, behavioural, and leadership skills, and drive data-driven governance of learning outcomes.

You will partner with plant leaders, HRBPs, and CoEs to align capability-building with talent management, building leadership pipelines and evaluating ROI across training initiatives.

Qualifications

  • MBA/PGDM in HR, L&D, Organizational Development or related discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Development roles.
  • Experience in designing and implementing large-scale learning interventions.
  • Strong understanding of competency frameworks, leadership development, and learning technologies.
  • 10-15 years of progressive HR/L&D experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual Learning & Development strategy aligned to business and manufacturing priorities.
  • Design and deploy capability-building initiatives across technical, functional, behavioural, leadership, and managerial competencies.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across manufacturing locations.
  • Lead annual Training Needs Identification (TNI/TNA) exercises across plants and corporate manufacturing functions.
  • Consolidate learning requirements and create the annual learning calendar.
  • Establish governance mechanisms to monitor learning effectiveness and completion.
  • Develop and maintain technical competency frameworks for critical manufacturing roles.
  • Work closely with plant leadership teams to identify skill gaps and implement capability enhancement plans.
  • Support certification-based learning programs for operations, maintenance, safety, quality, and engineering teams.
  • Manage learning journeys for Coromandel Engineer Trainees (CETs) and high-potential talent.
  • Support career development initiatives and individual development planning processes.
  • Drive mentoring, coaching, and internal faculty development programs.
  • Drive adoption and utilization of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
  • Monitor learning analytics and generate actionable insights for leadership teams.
  • Establish frameworks to measure learning effectiveness and business impact.
  • Track training hours, completion rates, competency improvements, and ROI metrics.
  • Present periodic dashboards and learning reports to business leadership.
  • Manage relationships with external training partners, institutes, and consultants.
  • Ensure optimum utilization of learning budgets and adherence to procurement processes.
  • Evaluate vendor effectiveness and maintain quality standards for learning delivery.
  • Support organizational transformation initiatives through capability-building interventions.
  • Facilitate culture-building and employee engagement programs where required.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and CoE teams to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with broader talent management objectives.

Preferred candidate profile
