Job summary

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in HR, psychology, or related discipline preferred.
• 7–12 years’ experience in Learning & Development or Organizational Development.
• Experience in manufacturing/ engineering environments preferred.
• Certifications in facilitation, coaching, instructional design, psychometrics, or learning analytics will be an added advantage.

Job Title: Manager/Deputy Manager L& OD (an Individual Contribution role)

Position Overview: We are looking for an L&D professional who can design, deliver, govern and measure learning interventions across the organization. The role requires a person who is equally comfortable with facilitation, stakeholder management, learning analytics, data management and program execution.

This role requires someone with a proven track record of managing complex talent management programs, fostering a learning culture, and driving employee engagement through training and development. The candidate will work closely with senior leadership, HR teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that our talent pool is continuously developing and aligned with our long-term goals. This role would require frequent travelling

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning solutions aligned to business and capability needs.
• Support functional and role-based development programs in form of long-term journeys and calendarized initiatives
• Create end to end manage engaging, blended learning experiences (classroom, virtual, digital and on-the-job).

2. L&D Analytics & Data Management

• Maintain accurate learning data, dashboards and MIS for tracking participation and effectiveness.
• Analyse trends in learning metrics to generate actionable insights.
• Prepare reliable reports for leadership, HR reviews, audits and business updates.

3. Program Management & Governance

• Manage end-to-end execution of learning programs, from planning to closure.
• Coordinate logistics, communication, delivery, and stakeholder experience.
• Track effectiveness (L1–L3, business impact) and ensure governance on timelines, budgets, and reporting.

4. Facilitation & Capability Building

• Deliver engaging classroom and virtual sessions with strong business relevance.
• Use interactive methods like discussions, simulations and role plays to enhance learning.
• Support trainer development while ensuring high-quality, impactful facilitation.
• Partner with business leaders and HRBP’s to identify capability needs and priorities.
• Manage external vendors, from evaluation to delivery, ensuring quality and alignment.
• Ensure partners deliver measurable value, outcomes, and learning impact.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, dashboarding, LMS usage, reporting and data management skills.
• Good understanding of learning design, adult learning principles and blended learning.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and program management skills.
• 7–12 years of experience as a Learning & Development Specialist/ in Talent Development/ Organizational Development
• Experience in manufacturing/ engineering/ industrial or mid-large corporate environments preferred.
• Prior exposure to supervisory development, managerial capability building and behavioural training.
• Experience in LMS, learning analytics, dashboards, vendor management and learning effectiveness measurement.

Educational Qualification

MBA / PGDM in HR/ Psychology/ Business Management or related discipline preferred.

Certifications in facilitation, coaching, instructional design, psychometrics, or learning analytics will be an added advantage.
