ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree with 8–10 years of experience in PMC environments, and familiarity with MEP systems and ERP/SAP for project ledgers.

Qualifications

• This position requires a Mechanical Engineering graduate with full-time education and 8–10 years of experience.
• Experience in Green Field project setup and PMC exposure with firms like JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, Knight Frank is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, civil) to extract quantities and prepare Bill of Quantities.
• Draft and process RA bills, final bills, and joint measurements with vendors and consultants.
• Verify and process subcontractor and MEP vendor bills as per approved work orders.
• Identify extra items, analyze deviations, and prepare documentation for cost variations.
• Conduct periodic reconciliation for major MEP materials and monitor budget utilization.

Exide Energy Solutions Ltd is setting up Indias first Giga plant to manufacture Lithium Ion Cells in Bengaluru. Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for Billing and Planning in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve company's goal at Devanahalli, Bangalore Rural Manufacturing Location.

Eligibility:

This position is open only to Bachelor's graduates in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates with a Diploma or qualifications in other disciplines are not eligible to apply.

Key Responsibilities for Billing Engineer:

• BOQ & Quantity Take-offs: Review architectural and MEP & Civil drawings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, civil) to extract precise quantities and prepare Bill of Quantities.
• RA Bill Preparation: Draft and process monthly Running Account (RA) bills, final bills, and joint measurements with Vendor and consultants/contract.
• Subcontractor/Vendor Billing: Verify, certify, and process back-to-back contractor and MEP vendor bills as per approved work orders.
• Rate Analysis & Variations: Identify extra items, analyze deviations, and prepare documentation for change orders or cost variations.
• Material Reconciliation: Conduct periodic reconciliation statements for major MEP materials (pipes, cables, fittings, equipment).
• Cost Tracking & Audits: Monitor project budget utilization and support internal or external commercial audits.

Essential Skills to List

• Technical Knowledge: MEP systems understanding (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting), contract terms, and valuation.
• Software Proficiency: MS Excel (Advanced), AutoCAD, ERP / SAP systems (Project Systems or MM modules).
• Core Competencies: Quantity surveying, rate analysis, joint measurements, and reconciliation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Mechanical Engineering Graduate, Full time. Exp 8 to 10 years
• Must have Green Field Project Set Up experience.
• Experience in PMC like M/s JLL, M/s Cushman, M/s Knight frank etc will be required.
