Job summary

Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) Bengaluru is seeking a 5S Specialist for its Devanahalli manufacturing site. You will lead 5S programs across production lines, warehouses, laboratories, and maintenance areas to drive organization and safety.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in engineering is mandatory.
• 4–14 years of experience in 5S, Lean, or related continuous improvement roles.
• Experience with 5S audits, visual management, and SOP deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of 5S programs across production lines, warehouses, laboratories, and maintenance areas.
• Conduct 5S audits and evaluations, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain 5S visual management tools (shadow boards, labeling systems, floor markings).
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to integrate 5S principles into daily operations and SOPs.
• Train and coach employees at all levels on 5S principles, Lean practices, and continuous improvement methods.
• Support implementation of Kaizen, Lean, and Safety initiatives to enhance process efficiency and workplace safety.
• Monitor and report 5S performance metrics; prepare reports and presentations for management.
• Ensure all 5S activities align with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards, particularly for hazardous materials and battery cell handling.

Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for 5S Specialist in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve company's goal at Devanahalli, Bangalore Rural Manufacturing Location.

Eligibility:

This position is open only to Bachelor's graduates in Engineering. Candidates with a Diploma or qualifications in other disciplines are not eligible to apply.
