Job summary

Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) in Bengaluru Devanahalli is seeking a Mechanical Utility for a 12-month fixed-term assignment in the manufacturing facility. The role focuses on operating and monitoring HVAC, air systems and related plant equipment to support production and cleanroom environments.

The candidate will work with BMS/SCADA, carry out preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and EHS standards while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation required.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing facility with shift duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor HVAC, AHU, ventilation, dehumidification, ECU, exhaust, compressed air and nitrogen systems.
• Monitor temperature, humidity, dew point, differential pressure, airflow and related parameters.
• Operate and maintain screw/centrifugal compressors, PSA nitrogen generators, desiccant dryers, AHUs, fans and HEPA systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance including lubrication and filter changes.
• Monitor equipment via BMS/SCADA and respond to alarms to ensure uninterrupted utility supply.
• Maintain Cleanroom and Dry Room environmental conditions and support qualification, validation and audit activities.
• Maintain logbooks, PM records, shift reports and SOPs.
• Support root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives for recurring issues.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, LOTO, Permit-to-Work, PPE and safety/EHS requirements.

Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for Mechanical Utility in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve company's goal at Devanahalli, Bangalore Rural Manufacturing Location.

Job Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore Rural

Eligibility: This position is open only to ITI and Diploma graduates in Engineering. Candidates with a BE/B.Tech in other disciplines are not eligible to apply.

This opportunity is for Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor HVAC, AHU, ventilation, dehumidification, ECU, exhaust, compressed air, and nitrogen systems supporting production, cleanroom, dry room, utility, and office areas.
• Monitor key parameters such as temperature, humidity, dew point, differential pressure, airflow, particle counts, compressor pressure, temperature, vibration, and nitrogen purity.
• Operate and maintain screw/centrifugal compressors, PSA nitrogen generators, desiccant dryers, AHUs, fans, filters, HEPA systems, and associated equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, including lubrication, filter replacement, alignment checks, troubleshooting, and equipment restoration.
• Monitor equipment through BMS/SCADA, respond to alarms, and ensure uninterrupted utility supply to production.
• Maintain Cleanroom and Dry Room environmental conditions and support qualification, validation, and audit activities.
• Maintain logbooks, PM records, shift reports, maintenance documentation, SOPs, and utility consumption records.
• Support root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives for recurring equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, LOTO, Permit-to-Work, PPE, and all applicable safety and EHS requirements.

Educational Qualification:

ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline.
