Job summary

Visara Human Capital Services is seeking an IT Infrastructure Asset Management Executive L1 in Mumbai to maintain inventory, ownership, lifecycle, and compliance records of IT assets, including servers, Windows, Linux, databases, and security assets.

The role involves regular asset reconciliation, updating CMDB entries, tracking deployment, transfer, upgrade, decommissioning, and disposal, and generating periodic asset reports.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in IT Asset Management / Infrastructure Asset Management / CMDB.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and asset management processes.
• Experience with asset inventory, reconciliation, validation, and audits.
• Working knowledge of CMDB tools and asset management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records of physical and virtual IT infrastructure assets.
• Update asset details (hostname, IP, OS, database, owner, location, environment, status).
• Perform regular asset reconciliation, validation, and inventory audits.
• Track asset lifecycle from deployment to disposal.
• Maintain asset records using CMDB / ITAM tools.
• Coordinate with Server/Windows/Linux/Database/Network/Security teams for validation.

IT Infrastructure Asset Management Executive L1

Location: Mumbai (Work from Office)

Role Purpose

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Asset Management Executive responsible for maintaining and monitoring the inventory, ownership, lifecycle, and compliance records of IT infrastructure assets, including Servers, Windows, Linux, Database, and Security assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records of physical and virtual IT infrastructure assets.
• Manage and update asset details including hostname, IP address, operating system, database, asset owner, location, environment, and asset status.
• Perform regular asset reconciliation, validation, and inventory audits.
• Track the complete asset lifecycle including deployment, allocation, transfer, upgrade, replacement, decommissioning, and disposal.
• Maintain and update asset records using CMDB / ITAM tools.
• Coordinate with Server, Windows, Linux, Database, Network, and Security teams for asset validation and updates.
• Identify and report missing, duplicate, inactive, or non-compliant assets.
• Support infrastructure onboarding, decommissioning, and change activities from an asset management perspective.
• Prepare periodic asset inventory, compliance, reconciliation, and management reports.
• Ensure adherence to ITAM, security, audit, and organizational policies.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT Asset Management / Infrastructure Asset Management / CMDB.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure and asset management processes.
• Knowledge of Servers, Windows, and Linux environments.
• Basic understanding of Database technologies and Security infrastructure.
• Experience in asset inventory, reconciliation, validation, and audit activities.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and asset management / CMDB tools.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, CMDB, or ITAM tools will be preferred.
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes.
• Good analytical, documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple technical teams and follow defined processes.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in IT Infrastructure Asset Management, CMDB Management, Asset Inventory, Asset Reconciliation, Asset Lifecycle Management, or Configuration Management will be preferred.
