Job summary

Tranzeal in Pune seeks an experienced IT Asset Management (ITAM) professional to join our infrastructure team. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets in a large-scale enterprise IT environment, ensuring accurate asset records and CMDB integrity.

The role requires hands-on experience with asset tracking, CMDB management, ITIL processes, and tools like ServiceNow ITAM. Strong Excel and data-management skills are essential for audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Around 6 years of IT Asset Management experience in enterprise IT environments.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networking).
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of ITIL Asset and Configuration Management processes.
• Strong Excel and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and retirement
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets such as servers, storage, and network equipment
• Ensure correct asset records including location, ownership, and configuration details
• Update and maintain CMDB in ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
• Perform regular asset reconciliation and support audits
• Coordinate with internal infrastructure and operations teams for asset movements and updates
• Follow ITIL-based Asset and Configuration Management processes
• Prepare reports on asset status, compliance, and audits
