Job summary

Cloudxtreme Pune is seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle from procurement to disposal.

You will maintain accurate records in ServiceNow/CMDB, perform regular inventory checks, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

The role requires strong ITAM know-how, Windows/macOS, AD, VPN, and broad collaboration with HR, procurement, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• 25 years of hands-on experience in IT Asset Management (hardware + software).
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Asset Module, CMDB, and ITAM processes.
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting, inventory control, and asset reporting.
• Ability to manage procurement-to-disposal lifecycle with accuracy and compliance.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems, Active Directory, and VPN configuration.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT Asset lifecycle including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and disposal.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly hardware/software inventory checks and ensure accurate asset records in ServiceNow/CMDB.
• Handle asset allocation, recovery, and audit-related documentation with strict compliance to internal policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware and software issues, including OS configuration, installations, and device setup.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, maintenance activities, replacements, and service follow-ups.
• Prepare and analyze asset reports using MS Excel, Power BI, and ServiceNow dashboards.
• Support new joiner onboarding including laptop setup, OS installation, VPN configuration, and basic software deployment.
• Manage material inward/outward, STN creation, transfer orders, and stock distribution with location-based asset admins.
• Handle printer/scanner issues, toner tracking, and consumable stock management.
• Ensure timely closure of incident, asset, and request tickets within SLA, including resolving escalations.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multi-team collaboration (HR, Procurement, Vendors).
• Should possess a degree in Engineering/Computer Science (B.E./B.Tech preferred).
